Does my partner have to use it for it to work?
No. You can start on your own. Orbyt works best when both partners can see the same plan, add what they know, and stop routing every update through the person who usually carries it.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. Orbyt connects to your bank via Plaid — the same service used by millions of apps. We never see your login credentials. We store only the transaction data needed to track bills and expenses, not full account details. You can disconnect at any time.
What if my family doesn't want to change how they do things?
Start with the part that already causes friction: pickups, shopping, bills, reminders, or tasks. You do not have to rebuild the whole household at once.
How is this different from a shared calendar or a notes app?
A shared calendar tells you when something is happening. A notes app stores the list. Orbyt connects the schedule, the money, and the tasks so one person is not stuck translating the whole plan for everyone else.
What does beta include?
Beta households get the full Orbyt product while we finish launch QA: tasks, shopping, Google Calendar, contacts, reminders, bills, budgets, spending limits, assignments, and household exports. Founding pricing is $7/month or $69/year when billing turns on.
